Formed in north Jersey in 2004, The Early is Alex Lewis (guitars, synthesizers) and Jake Nussbaum (drums, electronics). Our music metabolizes the textural grandeur of post-rock, the communicational intimacy of jazz improvisation, and the patient grooves of minimalism. Currently operating out of Philadelphia, PA.
